Optex OA-202CBL
Active Infrared Presence Sensor (Black) OA-202C
provides Threshold Safety and
Activation signaling for sliding or
swing style automatic doors. Its detection area is precise, easily
aimed, and relatively unaffected by environmental changes. A programmable
Threshold Safety circuit actually
'learns' and adjusts to immobile objects, such as boxes or magazine
racks that might be placed in the detection area. By incorporating
SMD (Surface Mount Device) technology, micro-computer based signal
processing and industry leading optical systems, OPTEX is able to
provide superior reliability and safety in ONE compact package.
The PROSAFE
OA-202C will not only activate an automatic door from over 2m (7ft.)
away, but also recognizes the presence of a motionless person from
up to 0.8m (2.6ft.) away from the door's threshold, even at floor
level. "Hold Open Time" is selectable from 2, 60 or 180
seconds. If any motion is detected during the hold open period, the
timer will reset and begin again.
Deep and
Wide Detection Area - the OA-202C's
detection area consists of 29
individual detection zones which
represent 2.3 m. width x 3.0 m. depth maximum at a 2.5 m. mounting
height (7.5 ft. width x 9.8 ft. depth at a 8.2 ft. mounting height.)
The width and depth of the detection area can be easily adjusted to
obtain the desired detection area.
